“It was okay for an overnight stop”

“Ex motel. Bed comfortable, plenty of bright lights. Hot water very hot. Big shower with a non- slip mat for in the shower. Clean. Didn’t use air conditioner. Bedside lights easy to turn on (touch light). ”

“The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. ”

“Well positioned in the heritage area of Echuca. Great vibe at the Echuca Hotel. Live music at night might annoy some but we loved hearing it from our room. Fabulous menu at the hotel, including lots of GF options. Great online help from accom manager when we wanted to add a day. Highly recommend!!”

“Great for the big and small kids. Well equipped and very clean cabins. Shop around for competitive pricing. Beautifully maintained grounds and ammenities. Great extras such as ice cream van, petting zoo. Staff not overly engaging or welcoming. No boom gates and not a secure feeling park. ”

“Didn't realise this was a contactless hotel with no reception. I checked in later in the day after driving up from Melbourne. Didn't realise ther was no ironing board in the room. I had a function that evening and needed to iron my clothes. I sent a text message to the hotel and called but there was no answer. Thanksfully, a man arrived within 20 minutes to deliver an iron and ironing board. Other than that, and the cramped parking, my stay was great. Just request ahead of time if you need to……

“When we booked this place we were expecting from the description on expedia a hotel in a resort with all the facilities described. Unfortunately for us it was a suburban 2 bed unit nothing like the description. The property needs maintenance and a good clean. Some lights not working blinds were disgusting tiny bathroom cobwebs everywhere and many crawling insects. Unable to get local tv stations. Extremely disappointed for the money we paid.
