"Our family loved our stay at Cape Douglas. A place to relax and enjoy the surroundings! We enjoyed fishing, beach walks, exploring the reef, sunrises and sunsets and bird watching out the front! The ever changing reef from low to high tide was great to watch. A short drive to Port McDonnell and Mount Gambier was easy for supplies, a surf or cafe fix. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway by the sea. "

"The house is small and simple but was more than enough for the two of us for a few nights. It is well located, close to everything in Port Macdonnell - walking distance from beach, shop, restaurants and pub.It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Checking in was easy, no fuss.I would stay here again."

"The general condition was great but the weather was cold and wet and we were involved in outdoor activity during our stay we were disappointed that the bathroom was so cold that we were reluctant to go in for a shower. The shower dripped continually no matter how hard we turned the taps off. The drips splashed the bathmat so it was wet hanging on the side of the bath.
