"Located in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) this is a great place to stay if you are planning on going to visit Machu Picchu, it is a 1 hour 30 minute hike to the park entrance, the bus to park is less then 5 minutes away, the hotel itself is clean cold water in sink hot water shower, breakfast is served every day from 6am till 9am before that 4am to 6am you can request bag lunch, there are several restaurants nearby, it is located about 1/4 mile up hill from town square the village it self is lovely many markets and shops. I went in the middle of June and the weather was very good. The hot springs and waterfall entrance is a 7 minute walk. ticket office to Machu Picchu is less then 5minutes away must go day before for tickets."

"Loved the location right on the river!! The room was fantastic 502 on the top floor with huge jet bathtub overlooking the river!!! Alcides was an exceptional hotel manager and arranged surprise special experiences for us to make our stay extra special. Since the hotel is close to the river, it is also close to the train tracks so bring your ear plugs. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace adjacent to the river. Only negatives were that our room phone was broken and the spa Jacuzzi was disabled for remodeling. But all the positives greatly outweighed any cons!! The whole staff made us feel like VIP: Alcides, Mery, Augusto, Edwin, Diana, Maylin and Sara!!! We even made friends on Instagram with some of the staff, and we will stay here again on future visits."

"I worried I wouldn't be able to sleep due to train noise. The hotel assured me it was a quiet room. It actually was very quiet! The location, the comort, and the room with a balcony made this place a winner. The breakfast was not our favorite. Eggs were good if there was any available. The papaya and cucumbers were fresh and yummy, so there were some options one could find, but avoid the rubber-like toast! All said, we'd go back to this hotel."
