“We checked in smoothly with a friendly reception team. The first night started on a rough note. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect for about 3.5 hours. The TV remote issue was addressed after 4.5 hours when the owner sent a replacement via courier, noting previous tenants may have taken it. Black mould was found in one bathroom, and while the owner offered maintenance for the next day, we declined for safety reasons due to chemical exposure and black mould spread to belongings. “The property is a great place to stay as a family and the interior of the unit is awesome. Only issue I found was the shower was clogged and it has been like that for the whole stay although notified. The interior materials were high quality with a great view of the city. The bedding could have been cleaned but they rectified as soon as noticed. The caveat of this building is the parking. If you are driving reconsider just based on my experience. ”

“The beds were comfortable and toilets were clean. The staff was also very attentive. The place has been well designed but isn't maintained well. The walls were very dirty and we had a problem with a bad smell coming out of one of the toilets. They tried to fix it and had to give us another room, which didn't have that problem. Other than this issue, it was a decenr place to stay. An overall clean would do wonders for this property. ”

"We had a late flight arriving into Colombo - so checked in for 1 night only. Room was fairly big but we had issue with the bathroom door which was difficult to slide in and out. Breakfast was a buffet with good options."

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests! Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "
