“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“To begin with, I arrived at the place; the door was closed, and I did not have the combination code for the building and do. ot the assigned room, never contacted by anyone. I was strolling in the street until a good Maltese Samaritan helped me contact the management using his phone; by the time I went to my room was 11:30 PM. The room service comes every day; they never changed the sheets or replaced the towels.”

“My wife and I (seniors) spent four nights at the Sunset in May and really enjoyed the place. First, the location is great. It's on a main bus route and easy to get to the harbor ferries and buses. Second, it's a nice quiet neighborhood. Third, it's within walking distance of some lovely neighborhood restaurants. Fourth, James, the manager wows everyone with the homemade breakfasts! He's also eager to help answer questions and assist travelers. We would definitely return to the Sunset……
