“I booked this lovely Carcassone apartment for a friend who was visiting from England solo, and he absolutely loved it. The location in the Bastide is great for walking to everything in town - shops, restaurants, the square, small grocery store, pharmacy and train station etc. All communications with the host were timely, friendly and considerate. She also provided great information and tips on visiting the city. The apartment decor is bright, modern and cheerful. The apartment is very……

“Nice place with easy access. Dedicated parking. I wish they had wall cabinets on wall in the kitchen, a better looking kitchen but that was basically irrelevant for us once we stayed only one day. Also I suggest adding fans or ac in the rooms, was a bit hot. Otherwise the place is very nice”

“The location was about as good as you can hope - crazy close to the train station and conveniently located next to the canal, right outside of the touristic heart of the city. The rental was spacious and crazy comfortable - with amenities aplenty, the washing machine was a godsend. The rental looked clean, the terrace was perfect for a nice meal and a bottle of wine to unwind after a nice, hot day. AC made the apartment nice and cool, which was a must in the sweltering heat. On the downside,……

“Great location. Very comfortable.”

“This apartment was perfect. Very centrally located and easy to walk into the city walls. We appreciated having coffee and other things to make our stay easier. We also appreciated the air conditioning! It’s important to note that the toilet is on the first floor and shower/sink are on the second floor. This may have been in the listing and we overlooked it. It was a minor inconvenience and didn’t take away from our stay. Thanks for having us.”
