Get a guide on first visit. We go every year, and I am a prof. wildlife photographer, so never needed one again after first time, but fir sure worth it first park entry. Lots to see regardless, but without one you will miss subtle and hidden things of interest.

If you are interested in going to MAnuel Antonio National Park you must arrive early to be allowed in as they now limit the number of visitors per day. Kids under 12 are free.
