Proximity to the park is excellent. We used both our car and bus service and had no issues. Food is pricey and average (to be expected). Staff and Rangers were very good.

Excellent location, rim wall right outside the hotel!! Shuttle stop located really close. I highly recommend staying at the El Tovar. Hotel is so historic and beautiful.

Loved this stay! For as many people as they had it was quiet and we had shower and restroom opportunities with some food options in town; sadly ladies were a little strange about no campfires… so don’t expect a romantic campfire in the desert as the ‘wind’ will be too much even if it’s not ...
