Whimsical, eclectic tiny home nestled above the waterfall at Blueberry Falls Farm, a u-pick blueberry farm in Mentone, AL. Soak in the hot tub while enjoying the views of the waterfall and creek. Roast marshmallows in the porch`s wood burning fireplace while watching a movie or catching tonights big game.

A short walk away, there is an overlook bridge and roof top deck to enjoy views of the waterfall and pond as well as a game room below with foosball, crafts, and playstation.

Escape to a whimsy cottage above a waterfall and creek with several amenities for kids, pets, and adults to enjoy. The Whimsical Waterfall Cottage has a queen bed on the main floor and two full beds in the loft (the loft is not a walkable space, about 4ft high). The porch has a hot tub available for a $50 fee, a wood burning fireplace, an outdoor TV above the fireplace, charcoal grill, and serene water views. Hammocks and outdoor games are also available for your enjoyment.

A short walk away there is a community space with an overlook bridge and roof top deck to enjoy views of the waterfall, Blueberry Falls, and pond as well as a game room, The Creek House Lounge, below with foosball, crafts, and playstation. A bathhouse with two showers and two bathrooms are also available for guest to use during their stay.

During blueberry season (Late June to Early/Mid-August), guest are welcome to pick blueberries to enjoy with breakfast or to take home. If you are booking in July, please be aware that we have our annual blueberry festival the second weekend of July and most weekends we will be open for our u-pick blueberry events.

There is a two car parking space in front of the home.

We are available 24/7 if you need anything during your stay via Airbnb or call/text your host, Seth. If I don`t answer immediately, leave me a voicemail or text me and I will get back with ASAP.

The Whimsical Waterfall Cottage is on 6 acres with a blueberry farm, small waterfall, and pond. We have a beautiful and safe area to escape to Lookout Mountain, Al and explore the nearby town of Mentone. Within a 30 minute radius, there are 4 state parks to hike and enjoy mountain views. The cottage is one of three tiny homes in our tiny home village. It has it`s own private amenities but the rest of the property is shared with the owners and other guests.

Any type of car will do to get you from the cottage to town. Inside the cottage, we have a binder with things to do and resources for your convenience. The local newspaper, `The Groundhog` is also located within the cottage with a calendar of events happening in our area. Plan one of your stays around The Rhododendron and Color Fest in Mentone, AL to enjoy live music and over 60 artists and food vendors.

*The hot tub is available for an additional $50. Please indicate if you would like to add this feature to your reservation so we can unlock it for you before your arrival.

*You can bring your pets for an additional pet fee. They must be included in the reservation and we must be notified prior to your arrival.

*There are two other tiny homes on the property. They are both for rent as well.

*Blueberry Season is from mid-June to late August. During this time, we will have the blueberry bushes open to the public for our U-pick season. The houses are separate from the bushes but please be aware of this if you are coming during blueberry season.

*During the Spring, Summer, and Fall I will be doing landscaping on Thursday morning/afternoon. This includes mowing, weed eating, and blowing around the houses.

*PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS AN ACTIVE FARM. I work at the property myself most days. I bring our dog Maggie when I come to work. She is friendly, but will bark at cars. I assure you though, she will not harm you in any way. If it ever is a problem, I am always glad to keep her inside with me.

1. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more):
● For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies:
● Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
● A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
● No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.
2. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival
3. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation
4. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.
5. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy
6. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
7. No parties or events allowed
8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible
9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed
10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund
11. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them
12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)
13. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property
14. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit
15. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
Please note that a $50 Pet fee will be applied per pet.
We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 60 pounds. If your pet is heavier than 60 pounds, it will require pre-approval from our team.
Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (doggy doo-doo bags are provided)
16. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos
17. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera
18. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week
19. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.
20. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.
21. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
