Casa Panda, Santa Ana Luxury Near Paseo de Montejo

Casa Panda is in the very heart of Merida - one block from the lovely church, plaza and market of Santa Ana and 1.5 blocks from Paseo de Montejo, the magnificent main boulevard with museums, monuments, restaurants and spectacular old homes. No need for a car, as everything you need is within easy walking distance.

The home is large enough for family groups but cozy enough for 2 couples to share. With elegantly designed indoor and outdoor space, you will have all you need to enjoy Merida. The guests will be able to enjoy the entire house in privacy.

Casa Panda features furniture by Yucatan Custom Furniture, lighting by Takto and art from a variety of talented Merida artists. The entryway and living room is very spacious with comfortable seating for the entire house. The colorful art in the entryway and living room is done by local artists.

With three spacious bedrooms, it is large enough for family travel. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and garden-like ensuite bathroom. It looks out to the pool and patio area. It also includes a built-in desk for those guests who must work while in vacation.

In addition to the master bedroom, there are two large guest bedrooms and another bathroom. All bedrooms have mini split air-conditioners to keep things cool.

There are two outdoor areas: The first is a patio/garden with a fountain in and small seating area between the entryway and the kitchen. This area is perfect for romantic dinners, as it is lit by twinkling lights hung in between the hanging plants. There is also a patio at the back of the property with a medium sized pool, perfect for cooling off and relaxing.

The house is equipped with all the modern conveniences, including laundry facilities. High speed WiFi internet access is available throughout the house. There are televisions in the living room, master bedroom, and kids bedroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Purified water is provided, as well as coffee. The refrigerator has ice made from purified water as well. We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances including a toaster and coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Coffee, creamer and sugar is provided -- no need to run to the nearest mini-mart for these basics.

Guests will have access to the Burro y Flauta concierge manager as needed during their stay. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything!

Check-in & Check-out:

Check in is available after 3pm. Check out is before 11am.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability at the sole discretion of the host.

Early check-in availability is determined on the day of arrival and is a free courtesy to our guests.

If you need a late check-out, then we might be able to permit it depending on the needs of our next guest, but we will charge a late check-out fee.

General Rules:

1. To book this space, you must be at least 21 years of age.

2. The name on the reservation must match the person staying in the house. To verify, we may require a photo of ID of all people entering the property.

3. Quiet hours are observed from 10pm to 8am on the interior and exterior of the property. The purpose of quiet hours is to maintain a quiet and comfortable environment for all guests and neighbors.

4. No smoking inside the space. If a guest is found smoking or evidence of smoking is found after check-out there is a $500 USD fine.
You may smoke on the exterior patios granted you use the provided ash trays.

5. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet.

6. An excessive cleaning fee of a minimum of $75 USD will apply to any reservation which caused excessive cleaning services to be rendered.

7. Guests are responsible for any breakage or damage to the property.

Fees:

- The fee for overnight visitors above a total of 6 guests is $300 pesos per person per night. Any additional guests require prior approval from the host.

- One small (under 15kg) pet is welcome, but the guest is responsible for all damage caused by their pets. An extra pet fee of USD$75 will be charged.

- Electricity is included for stays of 2 weeks or less; and for stays of longer than 2 weeks, no electricity is charged unless the usage greater is USD$3 a day for the 1BR or 2BR homes, or USD$5 a day for the larger homes.

- Lost key or electric key fob will result in a US$20 charge.

- We are not responsible for any left items after check-out. If we do have to ship an item, there is a minimum of $50 (depending on the size of the items) shipping fee by host plus the shipping company cost to ship the item. It may take up to 14 days before we can ship the items.

Additional notes:

In order to keep the pool clean and maintained during your stay and for future guests, our pool staff is scheduled to service the pool twice per week. The total service should take 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Merida is a hot and humid climate, and this climate tends to host insects. As a result, you may see insects in the house. We do monthly extermination to try to prevent problems but it's not a perfect solution. We also supply bug spray and citronella candles to assist.

We are not responsible for any items brought into or left at the house. If you believe that you left something in the house after your departure, then please let us know. We will verify whether we have the item and share our office address so that you may pick it up. We will store any such items in our ‘Lost and Found’ located in our office for 30 days. If no one has come to claim those items within the 30 days, then we will dispose of it.

Furniture and décor from pictures may differ. We are always upgrading and improving the look and feel of our property for the comfort and pleasure of our guests.
