After spending several days canoeing and portaging through the Boundary Waters in Superior National Forest, this hotel was what we needed. We arrived exhausted, dirty, and ready for a hot shower and a good night’s sleep. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable (a little firm for my taste, but other’s in my party liked them), and everything felt fresh and welcoming. My only wish is that room service had been available, but ordering through Uber Eats was easy and made for a convenient alternative. Overall, it was the perfect place to recharge after an unforgettable wilderness adventure. The next day, the shuttle was perfect for some in our party to get to the airport securely. This allowed others to get on the road for their long drive back home.
