“Check in went smoothly and the GM was very kind, even offering us home baked cookies right from the oven. Getting to our room required two flights of stairs which we were fine with but be aware that there was no elevator. The room was nice, cooled with a window unit which was a little loud but we got used to it. The tv used Roku but we were unable to stream the local news because the WiFi was so bad. “.We stayed at Dunleith Inn for two nights while visiting Natchez and came away feeling disappointed, especially given how much potential this property has. The historic home itself is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds could be spectacular. That’s what makes the experience so frustrating. It feels like very little has been invested in maintaining the property. The fountain wasn’t working, the pool was dirty enough that we didn’t feel comfortable getting in it, and many of the outdoor spaces……

De eigenaresse is een warme en actieve vrouw, die vol energie in de keuken staat en zelf de prachtige tuin onderhoud. De ontvangst was fijn en we kregen een uitgebreide tour door het huis. De villa is centraal gelegen, met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het ontbijt home made en heerlijk (we hebben in de middag nog genoten van de meegekregen stukken appeltaart).”
