Lovely spot - we stayed in a top floor room with an incredible view and just overall great vibe with a balcony where we could sit and see the ocean. 5 min walk to the main Carmel strip. Morning breakfasts were perfect and easy. Definitely would try this place again :)

I cannot say enough good things about Tradewinds. The staff from the time i made the reservation online was great. They called before I got there and then sent me a text to say the room was ready. Their hotel is awesome. Very tranquil and "zenish". My room was beautiful and breakfast delivered to you front door every morning. I am looking forward to staying with them again! Highly Recommend!

For the price through Expedia this was a decent place to stay. The staff were friendly. The cold breakfast brought to our room was a nice touch since there is no restaurant on site. I liked the zen feel of the fountain at night. It just all seems a bit dated and could use a facelift.

Cute hotel. Beautiful garden courtyard area, breakfast delivery to your room, easy to park and in a good location. Texting with staff for questions etc was also a great option for quick easy questions. Spacious rooms with a fireplace and jetted tub. Furnishings and carpet feel a bit dated but character of the place made up for it.
