"Great location. Not busy, but close enough to all the restaurants and shopping centers. The only downside was the AC. I think if they can have a manual on how to use it, it would extremely helpful."

10/10 Excellent
"It appeared that the hotel has three separate buildings clustered close together. I stayed in the main building, which had a simple, compact design that was functional, clean, and comfortable. The older gentleman with glasses at the front desk was especially courteous and helpful, which made my stay more pleasant. The location is excellent if you’re visiting Tokyo Disneyland—it’s only two stations away and very convenient. There’s also a 24-hour convenience store right next door, which was a big plus. Another convenience was the direct train ride to Tokyo Station, which took about 22 minutes with no transfer. Overall, a clean, practical hotel in a very convenient location."

"It is right in the middle between Ueno and Okachimachi station. Family mart just a few step from the hotel and at night you can have a variety Japan culinary around the hotel. The staffs are very accomodating. I can request extra pillows, the hotel cleaning staffs leave a bag of new towels outside your door when you don’t want to get disturb. Breakfast is more of western style breakfast. Overall I really recommend this place."

"Staff was friendly and speak English well. There was an in-unit laundry which was very helpful. We picked the Superior Japanese room and the room was clean and spacious for a family of four with two young children. 7-Eleven and Lawson were nearby. However, the subway station was about 10-15 mins walk, which was not the most convenient, and the hotel door will be locked after midnight and you would need an access code to enter the hotel, which made me wonder the safety of the area. The varieties of restaurants were not as much nearby, but presuming most travelers have made plans to eat elsewhere. We were there mainly for the zoo and it was convenient for that purpose."

HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa

HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa

10/10 Excellent
"The location was very convenient. It was very close to the famous temple and not far from the subway station. I liked that they had free coffee and croissants. They also had free pajamas, toothpaste and slippers to use that you could get downstairs. The air conditioner was hard to figure out but we did somehow. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. They cleaned our sheets, made our bed, and cleaned the bathroom only once in 7 days which was a little strange but it didn’t bother us that much. But they brought fresh towels every day and emptied the garbage. The rooms are super small. We had to keep our suitcases under the beds. But overall, it was a very cute and convenient hotel."
