“The check-in time is 3:00pm based on the online information. We arrived at 3:00 and we were told by the staff at reception that the room was not ready yet, and it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. After 15 mins, another family arrived and they were told the same thing and the reason provided, was being short-staffed. We waited another 5 minutes, and the room was not still ready. The office of General Manager was beside the reception. I went there and asked the GM if he was aware of the delays……

“The building inside and outside are old and different from the photos. The interior was clean but not well maintained. The elevator was making loud noise and strange sounds both when start moving and stopping. The main light over the ceiling in our room was not working and had not been fixed. Breakfast was good and the staff who served us food at Bistro was very polite and friendly.”

“Staff at the desk was friendly. Room was small, bed was ok to sleep for one night. Nice and warm shower except the top corner of the bath tub has very noticeable black moldy stains. IMy husband was really worrying about the inhaling of germ or moldy bacteria spores through the streamer shower.”

“This is a cute and charming place if you like that old fashioned vibe. It had too many decorations for my taste though. The kitchen is very dated and the breakfast was self serve and very basic. Our room was very dusty, but it must be difficult to dust around the many items on display. There are a lot of labels and signs for the rules and regulations which took away from some of the charm.”
