“We stayed there in the first week of May 2026. The room was clean and rustic in decor. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, some pastries and dry cereal. It was fine.”

“If I could give it 0 stars, I would!! We arrived at the Love Hotel in Murdo and the entire place looked deserted, not a single car in the parking lot, no staff, no lights, absolutely nobody at the front desk. We tried calling, ringing the bell, waiting… nothing. It honestly looked abandoned. Which come to find out, locals from the town said it had been vacant for the last 3 months! Because there was literally NO ONE there to check us in, we ended up having to find another hotel late at night……

“The door was old and jammed. The fire alarm went off at 4 AM for no reason. No bottled water available. ”

“No wash rags No bath soap The man that checked me in a slob They had a stack of previously used door keys in previosly used door keys envelopes in a pile on the desk. The man checking me in had to sort through this pile to find my key. The juice machine for breakfast didn't work. The employee said it has a mind of its own and it comes and goes as far as working. The eggs and sausge wre cold. Pump coffee dispenser was dirty. They 2 employees I had contack with acted like you were bothering……

“The updates are nice but the front desk, bar, and breakfast buffet were very under staffed. The shower was also dirty, which was a disappointment.”

“Could use some improvements but was good overall. However, I could tell the shower was not cleaned because there was a used washrag left from the person before me. Also, the bathroom door lock did not work. ”

“Clean, warmly and very nice hotel!!!”

“Room ran about $100 first part of May; however, fitted sheet kept falling off the bed in the middle of the night and bed cover was not very appealing for comfort. Kleenex box fell right out of the wall. Hair left in the shower drain and it was stuck to the walls. Outlet missing cover. Curtain rod broken and pieces left in the room. The other room we had, the TV was broken and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to being broken all the way. Not the cleanest.”

“Great for the money except hot water was spotty and the train tracks are right behind it.”
