“The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us practice our Swahili. We ate dinner and breakfast at the in house restaurant which was delicious. Our room was great and had everything we needed. We were also able to park in the reserved hotel parking out the front and the security helped us with our bags too. We had a great stay here and will hopefully be back next time we visit Nakuru!”

“Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. “My wife and I stayed at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for four nights in December 2025\. We loved every minute of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good (buffet style, full board) and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We are birders and saw many good species in the immediate vicinity of the lodge. Full-day or half-day 'game drives' are also an option.”
