I stayed here on February 18th and have very mixed feelings. On the positive side, the front desk staff are world-class. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our bags securely before check-in. By the time we returned for our keys, our luggage had already been delivered to our room - a seamless experience. The lobby is stunning and classic with beautiful high-gloss woodwork. However, once you leave the lobby, the hotel feels quite dated. While it’s been "spruced up," the rooms and hallways still feel stuck in the '70s or '80s. A major note of caution: My daughters and I shared the buffet breakfast on our last morning together. We ate at different locations the following day, yet all three of us came down with a significant GI bug. After looking at other recent reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. Unless you are here for a specific business meeting in San Isidro, there isn't much to see in the immediate area. Given the price and the health experience, I believe there is better value to be found elsewhere in Lima.

This is a lovely, beautiful, well appointed hotel with attentive staff. We only had one night but wish it was more. Rarely have I enjoyed a hotel so much with such a nice ambiance. We enjoyed the location for the easy access to the costa verde and walking around Barranco but enjoyed the hotel just as much if not more with its nice garden restaurant, roof top bar and beautiful comfortable rooms.

Great place to stay. The hotel itself is historic. My room was comfortable, big; with wonderful bathroom; clean; best quality linens. And above all quiet - it is located in San Isidro and while there is a lot of traffic in the main road the room window faced the beautiful inner patio.
