"It is reasonably basic accommodation, but had everything that I required. It is dog friendly with many walks to take dogs on. I'd recommend it for a couple, especially if they have a pet with them. The pottery is also very interesting."

"The location can’t be faulted, less than 10 mins drive from Mittagong and just over that to Bowral, on a gorgeous piece of land. The house itself was just stunning. Spacious rooms and plenty of breakout spaces, huge kitchen and dining table and the outlook over the farm was amazing. Very easy check in and check out process too. 10/10 would stay again!"

"Our family recently stayed at this Clarence Town property for a weekend to celebrate 2 birthdays (one for 80 and one for 42). The group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (aged 3 - 13) with the layout of bedrooms perfect for our needs (we did not require the 5th bedroom or granny flat). The bathrooms, kitchen and family rooms provided us with comfort and spaciousness with appliances, utensils and condiments completing our requirements. Being June the weather was not conducive to swimming in...

"A lovely retreat, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor fires, and the spit roast was a lovely addition. Highly recommend for a family country escape. There would be enough space for two couples and a couple of kids. We would happily return for another holiday."

"We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light."

"The house is a simple cottage but offers the perfect escape from the city and reconnect with nature. Each morning we ate our breakfast and drank coffee out on the verandah listening to the birds and looking out at the beautiful views and it so tranquil. "This hotel is in a very good location. It is convenient to go to many attractions and within walking distance to. Hotel is good value for money. Hotel staff were wonderful, helpful and always happy to help. Yenny, Juliet and Ramita were a few of the wonderful staff that we met. Every staff was welcoming and professional. Housekeeping was brilliant. Rooms were clean and fresh everyday. We had a English breakfast buffet which was good. Maybe some extra additions like hash browns and croquettes would be ideal hot food for vegetarians."
