"Hotel itself was great. The room seemed a bit damp. Doors closed quietly so there wasn't a bunch of door slamming in the middle of the night like most hotels we've stayed at recently."

Log Cabin Lodge & Suites

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the log cabin atmosphere was nice, but the TV was difficult to use because the guide provided did not match the channels on the TV itself. Also, the wifi was terrible! So, the TV didn't always work. Our devices (phones, tablet, computer) also didn't work, and since cell phone reception is next to zero in that remote location, it was very frustrating. They REALLY need to fix/upgrade their system. I usually look for places that have a breakfast, and this doesn't, but I liked the log cabin "feel", so it was worth the sacrifice this time. We didn't use the fireplace, since we were there in July, but I imagine that would be nice in cool months. We also didn't have a chance to go to the animal park, but I've been to their other location, and I wish we had time to go there because I know we would have enjoyed that. I don't think we'd return, given the wifi issues, but it was mostly nice with the exception of that problem."

"Nicky at desk was nice. So much so that I shared my pizza/wings. In the room, I found it odd that alarm clock was unplugged as well as some of the wall lights. I did plug in my phone to charge overnight and woke up to it not charged. So maybe that's why things were unplugged. The AC unit was hard to understand. I went to turn it down but could only do it thru thermostat on the wall. Idek if I figured it out. Seem like it would turn on/off throughout the sleep. Bathroom was clean, but the moisturizer was half used. I guess that's a way to save $, but I wouldn't want someone else's germs on me. There were no plugs in the sink or tub. The pillows were comfortable and soft. Sleep was ok, considering the AC situation. The one lamp did not have a bulb in it. Tv, microwave, fridge all worked well."

"I arrived expecting to find a comfortable king bed, a relaxed sitting area and a luxurious bathroom. I did find all those. I also knew they had dining available in the lobby, but I was so surprised by the variety of items they offered and the quality. We had pre-ordered breakfast when booking the room - basically two for the price of one. We each got a "hot entree" and coffee. Starbucks coffee. The breakfast menu items available made it hard to decide. Each of us had huge portions of eggs, made to order, potatoes, bacon and sausage, and really great multi-grain toast. I slept really well, enjoyed getting ready in the bathroom, and had a full belly when I left. I couldn't ask for anything more."
