“Our five nights in swallows lodge was the perfect location for a hiking trip in the hills around Keswick , you can walk out of the front door and on to a footpath in more or less any direction, swallows lodge, has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and two good bathrooms, and a lounge/ living room area to put your feet up in, only a bookcase with local interests was missing. “Jasmine Cottage really is a lovely little cozy cottage in Portinscale near Keswick. This is the second time we have stayed here for Christmas. The cottage was beautifully presented with Christmas decorations and little welcoming treats. The kitchen is well kitted out. The large bedroom has a very comfortable bed with views to the hills in the distance. The living room is comfortable with a log burner perfect for winter evenings.”

“I was going to title this review no words! However I do have plenty!!! Im just not sure they'll be enough. What a beautiful weekend we had. Not only was the cottage absolutely stunning both inside and out byt the support we had from the keswick cottage team were second to none. The cottage itself was better then we pictured from both the images we saw and descriptions provided. It qas so spacious and beautiful. It was so clean on arrival and the added extra of a Christmas tree just made……

The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. “Easy to book a last minute getaway over the phone. Shortly after payment we received an email confirming the booking and providing full details of the property, key safe number, location etc. The property is very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Parking space in Keswick a great bonus, and location is very central, just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of town. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit the lake District, and would recommend the property to……
