Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

10/10 Excellent

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was lovely, and check-in was quick, easy, and hassle-free. The staff were welcoming, and the whole experience was very pleasant. The hotel is a great place to relax and unwind, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend it to others and would definitely consider staying again!"

Aberdeen Douglas Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The bed was very close to the door leading to the corridor, so I could hear quite a lot of noise from outside, and the corridor light coming through the gap around the door was far too bright. These were the main downsides, but the room was very clean and the price was excellent, so I would happily stay here again."

Thainstone House

8/10 Good

"A beautiful property. You can see they've really maintained the elegance of the house. There were just a few small things like the ceiling was a bit cracked, the faucet cap was missing, and the toilet needed to be pumped in order to flush. But the staff were great and the food was very good so all in all, I would recommend it as a place to stay."

The Wellington Hotel by Greene King Inns

8/10 Good

"We arrived and got a lovely welcome from the desk staff, he told us where our room was and that we had open access to the bar and restaurant during our stay, he told us the times for breakfast and if we needed any help we could either ask any member of staff or if we were out late we could ring them to get back in. The room was small and basic but it was clean and welcoming, the bathroom was well maintained and actually a decent shower. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room and extra pillows in the wardrobe. The only thing that let it down and knocked a star off my rating was the bed, it was like sleeping on a brick. Perfect if you like an extra firm mattress but after driving 12 1/2 hours I was looking for comfort. We did mention this to them when we left but everything else was perfect."
