SkyCity Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good location. Close to Sky Drive bus with direct access to and from airport $22. Queen St and K roads and harbour within walking.Room showing signs of wear and tear but reflected in price £70. Some cracks in shower tiles etc. TV was good with range of Sky TV. Amenities provided of good quality and bed was massive and provided good night sleep. Lots of places to have food and quality and price varies so you should get good value for your price point. Carpet in corridors from elevators was consistently dirty and not vacuumed. But again for the price point it was probably acceptable. Casino is ok but it’s super strict on gambling and this sucks the fun out of it… a billion forms of ID required but only Passport accepted for foreigners then you have to put your card (once signed up) in for all forms of gambling and the devices are so slow and bleep/scream at you and then you have to put your PIN number in when you play and then to put money in it was weird as only $20 (max) allowed to input at a time (like £9 😂). No $50 or $100 allowed to put in. No drinks service. Pit bosses are miserable as are the dealers as they are paid a wage no matter if you win or not. No tips allowed so they don’t try to provide good customer experience. Very very sterile experience which is also how the check in was. ID… credit card deposit… no insights to the venue or suggestions to what was on offer… take your card and go to room. Ok for £70 and a bed. It’s a 7/10 property"

Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport
8/10 Good
"Shuttle service was great, easy and quick. Room was clean, perfect for an overnight. The morning shuttle driver was 10/10 - sadly I didn’t get his name but he was full of energy and smiley for 4:30am, a great start to a travel day!"
Holiday Inn Auckland Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Super convenient hotel to be close to the airport, and to most accesses both to Auckland city and to highways to other directions. Excellent restaurants an food, nice breakfast, helpful staff... Definitely recommended for a short 1-3 nights stay."
