Northeast Minnesota Vacation Rentals

We loved all the history that went with the place and especially the beautiful lake and surroundings that comes with it

Very nice hotel. Very modern.

Perfect for a much needed break. Amazing view of Lake Superior and only 20 minutes from Grand Marais. Full kitchen and charcoal grill included. Clean and cozy.

Everything was clean. The staff were respectful and promptly addressed--and resolved--our noise complaint (a woman next door was singing folk music and playing her guitar, and if I had been in a mood receptive to this sort of thing, in a Edmund Fitzgerald tragic sense, perhaps, while looking out over the waters of Superior and digesting the forlorn aura her voice projected through the wall, I would've let it go on later into the night.) The grab-and-go breakfast pantry was well-stocked with a...

We had a very scary incident occur while staying at this hotel that the staff handled exceptionally. Despite that event, I would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Wonderful location. Operated by knowledgable and "mid-west nice" people. Will come back in the furute.

Inn is family owned and they have done a wonderful job with the little necessities such as sheets that feel like butter, having an umbrella, shoe horn, wine tool for your use, nightlight in the bathroom, and a light up makeup mirror! Property was very clean! Staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was incredible! They bring in baked goods from a nearby bakery, delicious coffee (local too). They also offer a good variety of breakfast items. Will definitely recommend to others! And it’s right...

Quiet, nice pool, free breakfast was good

Our room was spotless. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the brewery and restaurant next door, the walking path along the shore, and appreciated the ev charging station lot next to the lodge.

Very clean and comfortable Will choose to stay there again

I will stay here again and again! It was peaceful, comfortable, and incredibly clean! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner accommodation. Also, we left a week ago, and I’ve thought about the comfortable bed every day since. I have already recommended the GG Barnum mansion to family and friends.

Lots of fun stuff right there. The food was excellent and my son loved the pool and free watersports, especially the water bikes. Only drawback was the towels are rough but they get you dry

Easy to get into. We pulled up outside the door and walked 10 steps into our room. Easy check in through texts on the phone. Thoughtful about every needed thing. Warm on a frigid weekend. Beautifully decorated. Not extremely fancy but just right. Very clean. We stayed at a fancy pricey hotel on the way up for more than twice the price because we were late booking and this was hands down a better experience. Lots of great breakfast places near by, one right across the street and for the price...

We had a great experience at this hotel. Was in town for a college graduation. Would for sure stay again. Breakfast was very good. Thumbs up.
