"Pool was closed, poor timing on that since it was the middle of summer. Parking by the hotel was ample however they have the handycap walkway blocked with a long gate that forces one to walking much farther then necessary to get to the hotel entrance. Otherwise this is a very nice place with great rooms, service and amenities."

"Morris Inn is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Notre Dame and South Bend. The staff is exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, gracious and helpful. The food and beverages available on site are delicious and excellent."

"We had a wonderful stay! Our room was having maintenance done when we checked in so they upgraded us to a room with a living room area. It was perfect for the three of us to sit and visit before bed or after shopping. We feel they went beyond what was required to accommodate us. The breakfast was amazing! We did not utilize the pool because we were just too busy! Looked wonderful though. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable as well as the recliners and couches. Very nice and will definitely stay there again."

"The room was very nice & it was clean. The breakfast was also good. The pool was advertised as a heated pool. It was far from that. It was cold. Cold enough that we didn’t even want to get in it. The heated pool was one reason I chose this hotel."

"The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the lake view. Didn’t get a chance to do much else because of the storm and the loss of electricity. That was the only reason we left early. We would definitely stay there again."

"Felt the property could have been very good. It has a super cool setting and rooms over the water was fun. However the room was not so good. It needs better cleaning protocols."

"Good value for this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as waffles and cold items. Not too far of I-94 so it was much less expensive to stay in Michigan City than closer to Chicago."
