"The owners obviously take pride in this unit. It's clean and very inviting. It a top floor unit with views of the ocean surrounding all the windows. The listing said the fireplace didn't work but the wall switch turned the fireplace on with no issues. We would be excited to rent this unit again."

"The area was great as always. The condo itself had some issues. There was construction with the buildings which we weren't told about. They say 360 view from roof top which we didn't have access to. The jetted tub didn't work. There was mold or something nasty all over the shower curtain. The beds weren't all that comfortable. But overall it was a nice place. "

"Very happy with my choice, I extended my stay a week. Rental is within 200 feet of the beautiful and wild Pacific Ocean. Untold natural beauty that I drove from Texas to see. Rental is as advertised. Very clean unit. Complete set of dishes, cookwear, linen. Comfortable bed. Full cable channel selection. Very peaceful at night, you can hear the ocean if you leave your window cracked at night."

"First Mates Cottage is a very roomy very clean house, nice and close to good clamming beach area's and our favorite store 'Jack's Country Store'. If you are coming to clam, they have 8 clam guns, altho they aren't the best. They have games for kids. A very big yard and hot tub. Be sure to bring your own presto logs as they only supply two and they are very expensive to purchase on the coast. We were allowed an early check in which was great, fee charged but fine with us.
