"The location to the town was perfect. No transportation needed since everything is in walking distance. I suggest a room with a view, you won’t be disappointed. My only complaint there is no wash cloth for your body, and you need two hand towels not one. "

"Amazing stay! The views from our dome were amazing! You are literally on the top of a mountain with views down to the Urabamba river and a glacier on a distant peak. There are only a few staff that work here, and they do everything! From picking you up at the train station and from town when needed (extra fee, contact them through WhatsApp), to cooking a delicious dinner in their small restaurant. This hotel involves switchbacks on a dirt road. The last short stretch is too narrow for a car, so they take you up on a 4-wheeler/quad bike. Don't bring a giant suitcase. There are also stairs involved to get to the domes, so not an option for people with mobility issues. You will get a little winded in the thin air. We were here at the end of March. The domes can get really warm in the daytime sun, there are windows to open to cool it down. It can also get really cool at night. There were extra blankets and a space heater to warm it up. Turn on the space heater before dinner to get the heat started. Beds were comfy, The amount of stars visible at night is amazing!! We would definitely stay here again. The pictures that we posted from Vertical Sky got the most responses from friends out of anything we posted in Peru!"

"Great location, nice rooms with a view of the ruins, great beds, very nice bathroom. Staff was amazing. Nicely remodeled, very clean and charming. Nice buffet breakfast, nice service. Suggestions to improve the experience: make the instructions for the wifi and how to use the tv remote more clear. But the front desk guy came right away and explained things to us. He was very professional and friendly."

"Wonderful, clean, and incredibly cute! Jorge and his family were so welcoming and accommodating. Our room was perfect with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, juice, eggs and bread. We were honestly sad that we could only spend one night here. "Great location, within walking distance to everything, train station, maket, historical sites, trestaurants. Howver, the Staff was great. The mManager located a person to give me husband a knee/ feet massage because he could hardly walk. I highly recommend this small hotel for its friendliness."
