“This is still our favorite place to stay for our anniversary. There's been a LOT of changes since last we visited! There were some full trash bags around the back of the A-frame this time, making me think someone was enjoying the place only days before we arrived. There are also several new covered structures being built. While I expected this from my last conversation with the owner during our last visit, it was still a shock. I would love to know how the rental/visits are going to work once……

“The location was not well markedGPS had a hard time finding itThe turn into the property is somewhat not well marked hard to see at nightThe property itself is niceThe fridge says water needs new filtersFor some reason, hot water in the morning was not completely hot for showers”

“The home was beautifully built and we were very excited to be able to gather at a place that could accommodate all of us, fourteen in all plus one dog. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and seen how filthy it was. As a person that lives in a log home myself and also as a previous VRBO owner I understand the care it takes to keep a house like that clean. The walls were covered in dust and dirt, the staircase was covered in dust, dirt and animal hair. There were dead flies all over and mice……

“We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and unique cabin. The owners go above and beyond to assure their guests have everything they need to have a wonderful time. They have done a wonderful job of creating a beautiful property from a mix of antiques and repurposed items. The views are great and the property is quite and secluded yet close to major roads.If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the area look no further. You will not find a better experience anywhere. ”
