“We went looking for a long weekend at the beach and it didn't disappoint. The set up where the kids had a pull out couch bed, but it was actually two mattresses was a really nice set up and both the pull out bed and the main bed were extremely comfortable. The pool wasn't over crowded and the staff was lovely. The beach was stunning.”

“We were fortunate enough to be in room 411 with the most incredible view! The suite was modern and clean, huge balcony with an amazing outlook. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Erica and little Sonya in the dining room. The distance from the beach was ideal, just a 5 minute walk... be wary of the hill though, although its not far, it is steep! Our only criticism for this hotel was the pool area, although immaculately clean and no sunbed wars the area lacks ambience. There is……

“I requested king size bed we got 2 twins put together very uncomfortable the bed linen were not for king size so you will get all this different sheets and blankets in a bid lump in the middle very very uncomfortable, but overall is a nice property and the staff was wonderful, free parking and valet parking”

“The property is really big, we drove there with a rented car from Lisbon. When you first get in, it feels intimidating, but once you find the main check-in counter, it is smooth sailing from there. We met someone by the name of Marvin, who was our trip angel. He was so kind, and helpful and expecting nothing in return. The property is incredibly beautiful to the point of speechlessness. It is indeed luxury! They keep it so clean, and the people are so friendly, they have so many options for……

“Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub Anfang Juni 2026. Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön, es gibt viel zu entdecken, fußläufig ist ein kleiner Ort mit vielen Lokalen und kleinen Shops. Auch ein Supermarkt ist in der Nähe. Im Hotel war alles sauber und modern, im Bad findet man Rituals Karma Produkte, die Pools waren wunderschön (Außen, Innen, auch Whirlpools + Sauna), im Spa Bereich gibt es gegen Gebühr Behandlungen/ Massagen. Vom Hotel aus ist man in ca 10-15 min am Strand. Das Buffet morgens……

“Really impressed with this hotel. It’s very clean, well-decorated, and modern throughout — I’m honestly not sure where some of the other negative comments online were coming from, as our experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff were polite and genuinely helpful the whole stay. Breakfast had a great selection to suit all needs. We didn’t try the evening meal so can’t comment on that, but everything else more than made up for it. We used the spa and the treatments were excellent……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
