“The hotel is really nice, the lobby always smelt so nice! The room itself was very spacious and had partial sea view. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach but beware the hotel is situated on quite a steep hill, going down is fine but I can't say the same for going back up. There are many shops local which is great for g stocking up the spacious cupboards in the hotel room. Opposite the hotel is a 24hr snack hub. Snacks ranging from crisps and chocolates to burgers. “Good stay, hotel is super clean and on the whole helpful staff. Breakfast room is so nice with the sea view. In this visit a problem with our shower cubicle which was only resolved by us moving rooms the following day & hopefully it will get fixed before anyone else gets allocated that room as it a hazard. Giving extra towels to mop up isn’t the answer. Given vouchers for a drink to compensate for the inconvenience but then was told by the bar tender only one could be used per transaction.……

“The numerous pools onsite we enjoyable and my son,8, enjoyed the kids zone with the water slides. The beds we comfortable, the hotel was relatively quiet at night while sleeping, the room was large with plenty of room for my family of three, the kitchen was well-equiped and close to city center for groceries and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!”

“Travelled with a 3 year old, would 100% return to this same location. The staff were amazing, kids were accepted everywhere (except the indoor heated pool sadly, although understandably cause it's a spa). The kids playground was wonderful with daily activities, engaged and kind care staff during the day. I didn't leave her with them unsupervised by a parent, but apparently you can. Loved the facility, our villa was perfect. Only thing that would make this better would be if the peacocks could……

“The kitchen was pretty well equipped although it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. The rooms were kept very clean by the chambermaids and we have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful fellows that manned the front desk. The area of Olhos de Aqua is a very quaint part of Albufeira which we absolutely loved. We felt very safe here and loved all the little restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our thanks to all the staff!”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“Good sized rooms, all rooms sea view. Very approachable to beach. Unfortunately pool, spa etc are not on the property but have to go nearby. Restaurant isn't that well rated. But very very helpful staff. Great location. Clean and perfect. ”
