“The room was super clean and well located, but it is tiny. We had to manoeuvre through the door without hitting the bed with our bags and my husband had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom as the space between the bottom of the bed and the wall is reduced even further with the TV on the wall. Hubby loved the pillows but it was too big and hard for me so I ended up sleeping without one. The water bottles next to the bed was a nice touch and very much appreciated in the heat.”

“The staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property was very clean, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. “I was glad our stay at this hotel was only for two days throughout our travel in the Algarve. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Mattresses were excessively hard and we all woke up with back pain. Definitely something we were not used to. Our check out was a nightmare, unknowledgeable staff who couldn’t do simple math and was adamant we pay a charge twice. There are many beautiful apartments to rent in this area and smaller boutique hotels that I would choose if I ever return.”

Checkin was a unconventional Got into accommodation and found friendly but confused cleaner who took me to ALE shop under to check in. Bed comfy and good simple shower but otherwise fairly basic. Coffee machine in kitchen did not seem to work. Interesting use of chipboard in hotel fittings”

“We had a roof terrace that we loved, 1 bedrooms apartment between 2 adults, 2 children and an infant. The room was spacious and clean, offered what we needed and were happy to recommend Pateo Village. It was a 10 minute walk down into old town. With a park on the way if you go the right way. If I had to pick the bones out of it, maybe the shop could be a bit more reasonable in price and the entertainment wasn’t on this year. We didn’t eat in the bar so cannot comment on that. The……

Apartment only ok, had all amenities but only double bed comfortable, singles not and pull out sofa bed not great, inside edge of pull out look as if not used much and fluffy.
