“Unfortunate situation. I was doing a cross country drive. I wanted to stop so I booked 2 days, last minute, through Expedia. I arrived just before midnight. The room is clean but the bed was hard as a rock. I couldn't sleep. I was up by 5:30 in the morning, checked out before 6:30am. I asked the staff if I can get refunded my second day and was told to ask Expedia. I contacted Expedia and was told the hotel refused to release the second day payment. I was asked to revise my original review to……

“1. I booked a room online, which stated there were no additional fees. However, upon check-in at the hotel, they demanded an extra fee for processing check-in! 2. Every morning from 8 to 9 a.m., when you're still asleep, a strange man with a full beard vigorously knocks on your door! And when you refuse to get up, he even unlocks your door without your consent! When I asked him why, he didn't provide a reasonable explanation! He kept asking if I had thirty dollars, and if I wanted to exchange……

“I was surprised to find out that the motel was attached to a restaurant. The bathtub had a cut out in the bottom where something had been replaced or repaired and just put back. I found long black hairs in the bath towel’s and in the ice bucket. The parking area was very dirty, but the young lady at the front desk was very nice. The bed appeared to be clean. Would not stay again though.”
