"Aurora cabins were super cute and had our own sauna. The food with half board was delicious and the lodge had great access to cross country ski trails. The only thing I wish they had was robes for the room (as often had to run out of the bathroom and everyone can see into your glass room) and a head board so the pillows didn’t keep falling off the bed! Haha"

"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. "Breakfast was every morning the exact same options. Scrambled eggs were terrible, meatballs questionsble, very few cheeses and hams and the ones they had were the supermarket packages cheeses and meats… probably the breads were the only appealing part in the breakfast buffet and coffee was also good but overall a bit disappointing"

"Every part of this stay at Star Arctic was truly amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, including the driver to/from the airport who told us stories about the Auroras and life as a reindeer herder. The activities were so much fun, huskies were a highlight of the trip. In our last evening, the Northern Lights made a spectacular show and we were greeted with champagne on our return to the room as a special treat on our 25th anniversary. Truly, a once in a lifetime experience! "

"Amazing breakfast included in the room cost 7-10am, got a free upgrade to a suite with a personal sauna in our room, perfectly located in the middle of the village. Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!"

Great size for 2 adults and 2 children, with own sauna and drying cabinet which was well used! "Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. Whilst watching the lights we got ourselves locked out when the cabin door shut after us so make sure you snip the door or take key outside!! Sent a message to customer service (phone number didn’t work for us) and they responded sending a maintenance man to let us back in within an hour (90 euro fee). Did a few activities in the area led by local guides and walks in the beautiful white landscape. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. "

"It is a bit pricey but the experience is great. We observed auroras every night. The foods included are good. They also have à la carte menu but you will need to pay extra. The igloo is a bit of walk from recreation but they send car to deliver our luggages and picked us up on the day we leave. We had a great time, one of a kind!"
