Point Beach State Forest Tours

We stayed overnight in a themed room. I brought energy drinks with me because I like to drink them in the morning when I'm on vacation. We were staying for a night. The refrigerator in our room was not working. I told the man tending the front desk. He responded in a passive aggressive manner that he would have maintenance attend to it right away in the morning, knowing good and well that we would be gone in the morning. Before I went to the front desk, I attempted to use the ice machine. I could have left a can in ice instead of using the fridge. The ice machine was broken. The front desk attendant said that that was a known issue and I needed to walk up the stairs and use the upstairs ice machine. If I was the attendant, i would have gotten a fridge from a room that wasn't being used and switched it with the one in our themed room that we were paying much more for. The fridges were tiny and not very heavy. It would have been great to have a cold energy drink and some cold water to drink in the morning after a fun night out in Green Bay. We won't be staying here again. Wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone working there again.

When I checked in the young man said all of my information out loud.. I tried to educate him as to why you wouldn’t do that with a solo traveler. Then he continued to do it again right after. When I got into my room, it was dirty, but I always bring Lysol wipes and soap so I cleaned the tub the sink wiped down all the surfaces, etc.. The one lady tried to be helpful and was very nice and the pool was really nice but other than that I’m still waiting for my $50 hold that I was told I would get back.
