This place desperately needs an update, but it was clean and well maintained with a lovely view. This location and property have so much potential.

The view was beautiful! Our room was very clean. The staff were kind.
It is an older property that could use some touch ups but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
We loved the size of the room. It was nice to have a kitchenette and small living room with two balconies! The view was amazing! Great shower pressure. Not fancy or updated, however, that doesn’t matter to us as long as it was clean and it was.
Electric baseboard in bedroom not working, fireplace out but attendant came and lit pilot so I had some heat. Couch cushions badly worn. Asked to wash dishes but no detergent, only had had gel soap. No decent dish rack. This wing in the old lodge has seen better days. Faded. Staff tried to help and it was quiet

The room for the most part was okay. The bed was hard, the dishes were dirty, and the lady could have been more respectful on check out. But the check in process was fantastic coming after hours as I received a text and the key was ready for me in a lockbox.
Everything was lovely, and the location and view were fabulous. I couldn't find any air conditioning, but was so tired after a long travel day, that I didn't bother asking about that.
If you need air conditioning, I suggest confirming when you book.
Place was very clean. It is outdated, so if you’re more of a modern style, this is not for you, but if you don’t mind an old style hotel, then this won’t bother you. The location is away from other hotels (most of the hotels at Radium are close or beside each other), this one is located on top of the hill witg a separate road towards it with private properties around, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. It’s a very old building, so it may not be as sound proof as you think, but that depends on other guests too, during our stay, other guests were quiet. We had no problems at all. The view was amazing! Again it’s old, they still use a key for door, but its very clean, there’s no distinct odour like other old hotels or even new hotels.
It has shampoo and soap with small kitchenette. We chose the mountain view which is perfect for reading and relaxing. If you don’t mind an outdated hotel but cleanliness is what you need, this is highly recommended, price is fair compared to hotels around. It was great experience.

The view from the balcony was amazing but the hotel and room, though clean, were dated. The air conditioning was in the sitting area and not in the bedroom so it was very warm when trying to sleep. The toilet was running constantly which made it hard to sleep as bathroom was right beside bed and the wifi was non existent. Beds were relatively comfortable.
You really feel like you're staying in a chalet. The rooms are really nice and the staff are great. I would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: Amenities
We had a quick one night stay here with kids as we wanted to spend time in Radium hot springs. The location of this chalet is beautiful and tucked in nature. It’s a pity that the room and amenities are not upto par. The rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable, TV in both rooms, however furniture update is needed- no table or chairs for eating/dining. Outdoor seating is beautiful but not well kept. There was no hand wash in the bathroom, coffee maker didn’t work; rest of the kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cutlery.
This is such a beautiful property; I wish someone took personal care in how the rooms are decorated and equipped. This could be a luxury property!
