"Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :)"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We loved the beautiful valley setting and the privacy. The kitchen was very well appointed and a pleasure to cook in, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for reading and enjoying the natural surroundings."

"Our stay at in the Cowboy Retreat at Cody’s Ranch was lovely! Ed greeted us and provided us a great overview of the property inside and out. The space was clean, well furnished (great beds!), and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and walking down to see the chickens and buffalo.The indoor hot tub was a bonus, and we enjoyed it after a day of outdoor activity. Ed’s recommendation to get dinner at Jones’ Black Angus in Prairie du Chien was terrific!! We highly recommend staying here!"

"I just loved the nostalgic somewhat western way it was decorated. I've stayed in many condos since 2002. None even came close to being to having all the utensils etc as this one. On top of that there were other things you would never expect like sandwich bags sugar ice in the ice trays and on and on. Very unique setting outside- you'd have to see it to know its like noother."
