“Staff was great. Friendly, helpful and responsive. Breakfast was very good. Bed was very comfortable. Good location-minutes from town centre and Spiagga di Riaci a short walk from the hotel. Twenty minutes walk to Tropea and street is well lit for walking at night.”

“Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön, sauber und top gepflegt. Auch die Lage ist sehr besonderes. Das Personal ist jederzeit sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool und auch der Restaurantbreich sind sehr schön. Die Angebote an Freizeitaktivitäten wie Tennis, Tischtennis, Fitness sowie auch E-Bikes oder Tretboote sind super. Zwei kleine negative Punkte gab es. Das Strandufer ist sehr grobsteinig. Badeschuhe sind von Vorteil. In den ersten Tagen hatten wir vereinzelt Ameisen im Zimmer. Dies wurde……

“A lovely place to stay just outside of Tropea with excellent traansport links. There is a small beach down the cliff side which leads onto another spectacular beach wirh snorkelling. The staff were excellent and very accomadating. Lots of food options around the town. ”

“A stunning, beautiful resort that blends seamlessly into the natural beauty around it. Breakfast is amazing, and the supper menu changes daily, features local ingredients, and was always delicious. We played tennis twice and enjoyed the spa. There’s a beautiful sunset over the ocean every night. I cannot recommend this resort any higher, and we will definitely be back.”

“Close to Rome Airport. In spite of the instructions posted on the website, the pick-up point for the Shuttle bus was not obvious at the airport which resulted in us taking a very expensive taxi ride for a relatively short distance with a drive who really didn't want to do it.”

“Das Zimmer und die Anlage waren sauber. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, doch leider wusste das Hotel nichts davon und wollte uns ein " normales" Zimmer geben. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit und eine "Cola" aufs Haus, war doch ein Zimmer frei. Leider fanden wir die Cola beim Check out auf der Rechnung und mussten 20 min der Dame erklären, dass es eigentlich eine Einladung war. Frühstück war ok, allerdings bringen Hotelgäste ihr Brot mit, da es nur bis 8 Uhr "Vollkorn-Toast" gibt. Was auch……

“We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!”
