The receptionist told me that there were no available rooms. She said the reservation I booked on Expedia should not have gone through. She also said that they were only allowing 3 night stays because they were busy for college move-in day. So I asked if they were still going to charge us and she replied no. We didn’t want to inconvenience her so we decided to stay at a different hotel. We left at around 11:15PM. Then at 12:42AM I received a call from this hotel by a male employee saying that I did not need to come to their hotel anymore. I answered that I was there at 10:30PM and they didn’t have a room for me. However the hotel charged me $266.76 for the room we did not stay in. I messaged Expedia explaining the situation.
