The sink did not have cold water most of the time (super weird - you expect no hot water not no cold water). Most of the furniture looked like it was picked up at a yard sale. The desk and nightstand were all scuffed up and scratched. The floors were weird - fake marble that was thankfully not too cold, but still hard and dingy in the corners and along the walls. The bed was exceptionally squeaky. Bathroom fan was very, very loud. "Continental breakfast" was sad looking fruit, packaged pastries, and lackluster lukewarm coffee and tea with tiny paper cups. There was a sign claiming breakfast would be improved at a later date. Towels were too small and scratchy. Toilet paper and tissues were cheep single ply. No blackout curtains - street light came into the room at night around the edges of the shade. No privacy curtains for the day so everyone could see in unless we kept the shade closed.
It was nice having a fridge and microwave (if very old). TV had a lot of channels. Internet was decent. Room was generally quiet, clean, and warm. Location was very convenient.
