“The Motel 6 in Cañon City is a great Motel. They greeted me politely and professionally when I checked in. They gave me clear instructions on everything I needed to know. My room was very clean and well maintained. The a/c and heat worked quietly. The bed was comfortable. They were not trying to be a big, fancy Hotel by offering services that I didn’t need or want. They are within walking distance of several good restaurants, City Market, etc. They gave me just what I wanted at a very reasonable……

However, when we let them outside we realized that not only was there multiple ways for them to get out of the yard (hole in the fence, giant opening under the building next door), but the yard was also just a full of mud. “We booked this home for a night knowing that a possible blizzard was in the forecast and I'm very glad we did, and not just because we didn't have to drive 100 miles in a blizzard. The home was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Our three-year-old loved the toys in the living room. Though we didn't utilize most of the kitchen and other amenities, it definitely has everything one would need for a longer stay.
