“Building was clean and comfortable with a/c in each bedroom. Pool was great. Staff were friendly. Good location. Some minor maintenance things like loose cabinet handles but nothing of consequence. Cookware in the kitchen was mostly functional but needs replacing. FYI - The family suites are not beach front. It’s a 5 minute walk to the other Residencias property that is on the beach. The pictures and listing description are not as explicit as about that as they should be.”

“We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again.”

“There is a lot to share about our experience. Our family of four booked this hotel for three nights to relax after some earlier adventures. Unfortunately we got some pretty terrible weather. We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. They gave us a lovely room and the staff we met were kind and friendly. They provided breakfast daily. The pool was……

“Best hotel in Samara, guaranteed! Affordable and smack downtown. Laura, Jessica and Karina were top notch with their fine customer service and friendliness. Pools and overall property is well kept. Had an amazing stay plus breakfast was a perk. Italian restaurant in site is a must! Extremely pleased. Will come back here.”

“The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica.”

“8 minutes to walk to the amazing Playa de Carrillo. This accommodation is not only perfect in its location but for everyone who would like to exit busy touristy places. The staff was super-nice and the pools just in front of our apartment door have been excellent. Our 5yrs old daughter just loved to start and end her days with it. “Fantastic place, amazingly well managed, and wonderful staff. Intimate, all staff were amazing. We felt so well taken care of. Every detail was thought through. The place is a 2 min walk to the ocean through a beautiful forest, straight from the property- we were going in and out in swim suits. The beach is fantastic, for surfers especially. “Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance. Excellent service, très accommodants. J’ai tout adoré!!! Merci”
