“Small but mighty is this beach cottage. Located two blocks from the beach in one of my favorite San Diego neighborhoods. Ira was a great host - speedy responses when we needed anything. Bed was comfy as well as the pullout couch! Would definitely stay again.”

“The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. I also am not sure if I just couldn’t figure out the pull out couch situation (not enough bed space with my wife and baby). I tried to see handles to pull out a bed but didn’t see any. It might……

“Nice, clean, very small but extrance door opens to a roomy outdoor kitchen. So convenient to anywhere you would want to go in San Diego. Owner Cecilla so very nice and has a food court restaurant at Liberty Market within 3 blocks. Best food we had there since our stay!”

“We had an amazing time. Excellent restaurants. Walking distance to the beach was amazing. Not far of a walk to Oceanside Pier. The house was perfect for the two of us with our German shepherd. Talking about wanting to go back and stay.”

“My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. The beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely be back, Encinitas is the coolest spot and a great place to see and visit the San Diego area! Thank you Lynn!”

“We've been staying at this property almost every year for a number of years now. We still love it. It's not super fancy but has everything we need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing week at the beach. It's perfect for us! Great views to watch the dolphins and the sunset, just off the boardwalk to avoid the extra noise, and easy to go back and forth between the beach and meal times or potty breaks. We'd buy it if it ever went up for sale, it's that enjoyable!”

“Pros: -Great Location! Good restaurants within walking distance, liquor store, butcher shop, bagel shop. Most importantly the Windnsea beach! -Great view from rooftop -Hot tub has a fun little grotto feel, perfect for 2 people. -Game room is a nice touch complete with Laundry! -Roku System was useful for evening movie viewing -Tiny but mighty kitchen Cons: -Pictures need to be updated, especially the rooftop. There is no hammock, just two Adirondack’s, 2 loungers, a fire pit, a small gas grill……

“Cute little cottage in a great location. Super close to the beach and walking distance to excellent restaurants. Owner was very friendly and gave superb dining recommendations, including spots that seemed popular with locals. Parking was on street but no troubles finding nearby spots and it was over Memorial Day Weekend. Kitchen was nicely stocked. It was perfect for a couple on a getaway extended weekend!”

“Property was great! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer took a long time to do a load of laundry but got the job done nonetheless. Rodney was responsive to texts and offered up suggestions on dining when asked. No grill or fire pit like listed unless it was tucked away where we didn’t see. Wasn’t important enough to ask about though. Didn’t impact our stay. Ocean beach is nice but it’s a little drive time wise to the nicer beaches for families. Would stay again for……

“We knew we wanted to stay in OB to hang at Dog Beach, and I chose this place because of the proximity to the beach (maybe a 4 minute walk), and the dog washing station! This property has street parking and isn’t so bad if you time it right (wait for people to go to work and you’ll get a close spot). The property is set back from the street and quiet. Inside has everything you need, even dog bowls (course we forget them)! The treat jar was a special touch as well. We had plenty of towels,……

“First off the location is great. The beach cruisers were a nice addition to get around the local area. There is a garage for a small car. The bed was comfortable and linens clean. The courtyard was nice. We had a great time A few things would make it better. The couch was stained and dirty, we used beach towels to sit on it. Only one wash cloth was provided in the bathroom for two of us for a four day stay. In order to get the bathroom door to close, it is a loud slam, the shelf that is in the……

“It was an amazing house”

“The cottage is cozy, but it is not well maintained. There are traces of mold on the ceiling and windows. The wooden frames are weathered. Weeds are growing in the courtyard, the upholstery of the chairs is dirty. The cottage was only superficially cleaned. There was thick dust under the furniture and a tuft of black hair under the shower curtain in the bathroom. A complaint I made about a broken hairdryer was not answered. The cottage is beautifully situated, just two streets from the sea. It is……
