Welcome to our casita! The entire unit was remodeled to create an open and unique space for friends and family to enjoy Santa Fe.
1 bedroom with luxury bedding and linen. Open plan living area and full kitchen. Art from around the world and loads of great books to read. Off road parking.
Within walking distance of downtown Santa Fe.

There are 3 steps up to the bedroom and the bed is Japanese style, low on the floor.
Just FYI in case you have trouble with such things. Not suitable for the mobility challenged and the infirm.

The space:
Pet friendly! Fully enclosed fenced yard. Also a short hop from the famous 135-acre, Frank Ortiz Dog Park.

Let us know what type/size of pet you are bringing, and add on the pet fee of $40 per stay for one pet.

You can walk to the Alto park for the river walk, which is great to run along.
Working from home? We have a work station for you. Just let us know in advance.

Guest access:
You will have the whole house to yourself. You are also able to check yourself in using our lockbox. Total security and privacy!

TV is 50inch with Netflix and Prime. No cable.

Other things to note:
Home is located on the on the historic El Camino Real, a trade route from Mexico to the San Juan Pueblo. Even though it only has 2-way traffic it can be bustling and noisy. Once you enter into the inner enclave of the walled yard and home you will be much less aware of any outside noise. 18 inch adobe walls! We can provide a white noise machine for the very sensitive.

For long term renters the unit will be cleaned every 2 weeks by our cleaners and paid directly by the guests. Its $90 for 2.5 hours.

Very spacious studio with high ceilings, comfortable bed and sleeping area, nice big TV for Netflix. Also very clean! Easy off street parking right in front of studio. Will definitely come again — convenient location. Thanks for an excellent value.

Clean and cozy!
The Casita was a perfect stay for our short trip to NM. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. John checked in to make sure we were comfortable which was very kind. While it is on a busy street, you can’t hear much unless you are there during trash day as the bedroom faces an alley. We would definitely stay ant the Casita again!

Our host was very welcoming, helpful and available. The casitas was well kept and stocked with kitchen and bath needs. The location between the junction of Hickox and Auga Fria streets creates high traffic little to none sidewalk space and very little off street parking space. To say the neighborhood is rather sketchy is an understatement.

Great Night’s Sleep!
Our stay in Santa Fe was just lovely. John was an excellent host, who checked in multiple times to make sure our stay was comfortable and any needs were addressed. He recommended some great restaurants as well. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the king size bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Restaurants and activities were within a mile of the place. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute little house for two
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Although it is situated on a fairly busy street, the patio is private and it was quiet inside. We enjoyed the relative proximity to the Railyard District with lots of good restaurants. We would recommend this house.

Great vacation getaway!
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights last week. The place was very clean, had everything we wanted or needed and the location was ideal. I read reviews about the noise, which can be busy during the day, but closing the door dealt with that and it was quiet during the night. That part wasn’t really a problem and I wouldn’t let it deter you from booking. Location was ideal to anything from Meow Wolf to the downtown shops. John was very responsive from the first message to the last. We would definitely recommend this spot and if we’re ever back in Santa Fe, we’ll be here again!

Lovely stay in Santa Fe
We loved the place. Perfect size for the two of us and our pup. It is on a busy street, but the noise really didn't bother us. It was a distance to town, so we had to drive, but I suppose you could catch a Lyft. Parking was easy~right in front. Would stay again if our travels take us back to this sweet town.

Comfortable and convenient Santa Fe casita
We recently spent a week at the casita enjoying Santa Fe. Upon our arrival, the casita was neat, clean, and welcoming. Everything was accurately described in the VRBO listing. John is a welcoming and conscientious host. His instructions were clear and accurate. When we brought two minor concerns to his attention, he addressed them promptly, while respecting our privacy. The casita's location is within easy reach of many attractive options for dining, culture, shopping, etc., some within walking distance, others more easily reached by auto. Agua Fria St. is busy during the day but is considerably quieter by evening. In addition, the casita's adobe walls dampen some of the traffic noise. However, if you're looking for quiet solitude, this is not the best place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe and the casita was a comfortable and convenient home base for us.

Pleasant surroundings.
There were only a few minor inconveniences that I believe the owner could improve. No cable service, so could not watch the nightly local or national news. No ironing board or iron, spent my days in wrinkled clothes. Anyone who travels, knows that feeling. No air conditioning in the living room, the small air conditioner in the bedroom was not enough for the entire house. Parking was an awkward challenge. The bed is very zen, but too low if you have mobility issues. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I think these are minor issues that could be improved.
