This was the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Pelican Cottage on Lido Key. We absolutely love this home! The house is perfect for our family of 5 travelers and our dog. The in-ground pool area in the back is the perfect place to relax after hours at the beach! Fabulous location… walking distance to Armand Circle with a variety of shops, restaurants and ice cream spots. The Gulf is a short 5-10 minute walk from the front door. We just left and are already looking forward to next summer’s vacation!!

It was a beautiful property

This was perfect for our family group. The kids loved the pool and there was lots of space inside as well. The bedrooms are large and there’s three bathrooms, which is great when you have that many kids with you. The owners were very communicative and very helpful.

Great friends vacation

The rental was outstanding and in a great location. It was close to the beaches and just a short walk to many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed having the pool. We were glad the owner took the time to check on us which is not always the case. this was a five stars plus stay!!!

Perfect Properties

Rented both their cottages. Steps from the beach and walking distance to bars/restaurants. Everyone in the family enjoyed the trip! Owners kept us up to date on all the repairs from the hurricanes and had the property in ready condition as promised!

Fabulous place

The house is roomy, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. The proximity to the Lido Beach and St. Armand's Circle can't be beat. The pool was refreshing in the evening and on the days we were too lazy to hit the beach. We and our adult children, their partners, and our 18 year old granddaughter had a wonderful vacation!

Pelican Cottage Excellence!

We have traveled around Florida. Stayed at varied VRBO properties.This was the best all around! I did not have to clean in advance of unpacking! Our month long "home" was spotless! A very easy walk to the lovely beach and to great shopping at St. Armands!The owners thought of everything! Dishes, supplies, games and books!Thank you Ed & Deb! We will be happy to share this wonderful experience!And now we are back to the cold of Pa.and wishing we had stayed longer!

Pelican Cottage Family Stay

We were thoroughly satisfied with our recent stay at Pelican cottage Decemer 28- January 4. Lovely cottage, pool and access to the beach and St. Armands shoppes and eateries. The home had all the needed equipment for the beach and pool and was very comfortable. The host was so easy to contact and provided us with information about activities and local delivery methods for food and such. Highly recommend this property and we hope to return!

It has everything you need for a great beach vacation!

The hosts of Pelican Cottage have taken extra efforts to make sure you are comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of pool toys, beach accessories and a wagon to make the trek to the beach super easy. Comfy beds, games, beach towels, and lots of information about area made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation! Thank you!!

Another Great Stay!

I stayed at Pelican Cottage this past February. This is my third time renting it and it won't be my last. The house is well stocked with everything you'll need and the location can't be beat (leave the car parked and walk to St. Armand's and the beach). All that being said the best part of renting Pelican Cottage are the owners Deb and Ed. They are terrific people! I'm counting down the day until my return.

Second time

We absolutely love the Pelican Cottage. This was our second time staying here. The location is perfect, couldn’t be any better. Short walk to the beach and to St Armand’s circle. The house itself is clean, many very comfortable beds to sleep in. Pool area is perfect with a large table to enjoy lunch or dinner outside. Communication with owners was easy, We will be back! Thanks for a great stay.

A wonderful family vacation!

The “cottage” exceeded our expectations! We were truly surprised at just how large it was when we entered. It was a perfect size for our family of 5 (although it can easily accommodate up to 10 people). The onsite inground pool is an added bonus. It was great for evening swims. We loved it so much that we booked for July 2024 before we even left!! We’re looking forward to another week at Pelican Cottage!

Great location

The location of this house is fantastic. Fairly minor problems including questionable items on one bed and very stinky slow drains in one bathroom. The host was responsive and apologetic, which is appreciated. We generally had a very nice stay and the house is as advertised.The kids loved the pool. We had 10 people stay and it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable.

Another great vacation in Lido Key

My wife, children, and their significant others have been going to Lido Key for many years. This is our first time staying at this cottage. We love the area and have stayed in the same neighborhood previously. The cottage is great. Beds are comfortable, close walk to town and the beach. The beach toys and equipment were far above what is typically found in a vacation rental property We will definitely be going back. We had one small issue and the owner was very easy to reach and took care of the problem quickly

Wonderful House

The location is amazing. You can walk to the circle and to the beacg. The house is equipped with a great wagon and toys for the kids. We had a colder week but the pool was super warm so the kids swam everyday. There is lots of space for everyone. Virtually no negatives about this house.

Family vacation with my sister

My family and my sister’s family loved staying at the Pelican Cottage. The house was perfect for the 9 of us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for all of us. The pool was nice to come back to after hours at the beach. It is a good walk to the beach but worth it, as it was not busy at all where we were (even on Memorial Weekend). We enjoyed being able to walk to Starbuck’s and Ben & Jerry’s. The sunsets at the beach were truly amazing and not a single night looked the same. We would love to come back one day. It is officially our favorite beach vacation ever.

Great location. Great home. Pictures don’t do it justice - family that arrived before us called while we were a few miles out and said to go ahead get ready to be surprised. My in-laws rented the property next door which was super convenient for our large family and we had plenty of room. It made for a trip we won’t forget. So much fun. Being able to walk to St Armands Circle was the icing on the cake. Beautiful beach, pool, amenities..too much to list. We look forward to booking this property again.

Wonderful property

Loved the short walk to the beach - it is far enough from the public access point that it was not crowded at all. Kids had a blast diving for sand dollars. Easy walk to the circle with so many nice shops and restaurants - very pedestrian friendly. The arcade was a hit with the kids (and adults). The property was very well maintained. Extremely organized, with everything labeled, making things easy to find (and put away). Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The owners have a very detailed binder with things to do, check in/check out info. Lovely place that I highly recommend.
