“Great stay! Wonderful property!”

“Cute downtown area with multiple spots to grab breakfast and convenience store stuff. Easy access to Harper's Ferry and made for a nice restful spot between hikes in nature and around town.”

“Great little place to stay.”

“We really enjoyed our time and would recommend anyone to rent here as it’s very cute! The bed was very comfortable in the case is a big plus, This place won’t disappoint you it’s a great couples get away”

“This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down……

“We enjoyed our 4 night visit at The Cabin at Alta Vista. The cabin is a relaxing home away from home. There are so many personal touches the owners leave for their guests. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang as a family and work puzzles and play board games. The cabin is close to towns if you want to explore, but it's a wonderful space if you're looking for a rental to stay and recharge!”

“Location is unbeatable- but bring ear plugs for the train whistling through the night.”

“Perfect spot for a girls weekend. Plenty of space to sleep, without feeling like the rooms were crowded. All of the beds were comfortable, not a bad spot in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, so we were able to bring groceries and cook for most meals. It was even stocked with whole beans from a local coffee shop and a grinder- a great touch that we thoroughly enjoyed! The hot tub, fire pit, and the view are killer. It’s a quick 15-20min into Harper’s Ferry or over to Hillsboro……

“The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless. The host is awesome and responds quickly to any concerns or even just recommendations of the area. We stayed here and ventured out to the nearby trails and small towns. Our time at and around the cabin was very enjoyable.”

“Check-in went smoothly and good communication from the host. Inside the cabin was clean for the most part and relaxing. The master bed was saggy in the middle, but I brought to thier attention so hopefully they fix it. The outside pictures didn't match the photos. The cabin definitely could used some TLC. The grass needed mowed, but it was very peaceful. We seen some wildlife and the neighborhood was quite. It was probably 15 minutes from dollar general and 30 minutes from anything else. All and……

“The posting warns about low ceilings and insects. I'm 6'1" and did fine, just watched my head on the step. I did see one spider, but otherwise very clean and not buggy. My only other criticism is there is one small trash can in the kitchen area and not the bathroom. Very cute and very comfortable, especially for just one night. My wife complimented it multiple times during our short time there.”
