"The host that helped us was new and was not familiar with the rooms. The first room was not acceptable but the host helped us get into a better room. The room was clean. Windows were dirty and the room smelled musty."

"We had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcomed us with freshly baked cookies. Our room was clean and comfortable. Note there is no air conditioning in the rooms but open your slider to a cool ocean breeze and listen to the ocean waves at night. Conveniently located to beaches and Hearst Castle. Took a drive up to Big Sur. Lovely location. Breakfast consisted of hot items such as eggs, bacon & sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit and cereals. We would stay there again."
