"The oceanfront location was amazing! We loved being able to walk to the beach and watch the waves at sunset. The hotel room's carpet could use some updating, but the free wine was a nice touch. One drawback was the limited dining options nearby. The hotel's proximity to the lighthouse and elephant sea lions was a big plus. Cambria is a great nearby town to explore. "

"The property was welcoming to pets. The continental breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent. the property was showing its age but acceptable. the ocean view rooms had a good view of the ocean. The beds could sand to be replaced....overall very good"

"This is an older seaside property that shows its age on the exterior but the rooms are excellent. 3 stars is a good rating. Comfortable 12" mattress, remodeled rooms and bathrooms and a very good price point. I drove up the coast and back and in staying a second night. "
