“We really enjoyed staying in this cute little studio. Absolutely loved the patio where we sat every morning drinking coffee and watching the surf, birds, and people jogging or walking by. Loved walking up to the local market for supplies. The pool was great and we could walk to the beach to snorkel and see all the beautiful fish or watch the surfers. Location was great too as we traveled in both directions around the island for hiking, kayaking, and shopping.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out……

“Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Because the unit is on the ground floor, we also weren’t comfortable leaving the windows and doors open overnight. The location is excellent. “I was very disappointed in the condition of the kitchen. The stove broiler pan face was very dirty and unappealing. I only used the tea kettle......the toaster had one side that did not work, so only usable for 2 slices of bread at one time. There were no instruction books/pamphlets for any kitchen appliances (microwave). No clear instructions for the television - I watched no TV when I was there. But the patio was in GREAT disrepair. “This was a great space to have while on Kauai. Close to so much, right across the street from the athletic club, whose pool was clutch with our 4 year old! We loved being on the ground floor to just walk right out on the grass. The AC was helpful just to shut out the noise of the roosters at 3am but other than that, it wasn’t needed it was nice and cool with fresh air flowing through. Jill was a wonderful host and we would certainly rent from her again! Mahalo Jill!”

“Susan's place was awesome! Very true to pictures, kitchen had everything very nice dishes, pans everything you need! Such a great location, a beautiful and easy walk to the best beaches. The grounds of the resort were beautiful. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were great! Place was very clean and maintained! The only one thing I could see for improvement was some more beach chairs, there were 2, but those are getting older but still work fine -- appreciate all the toys for kids, boogie boards……
