“We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out……

“Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep. The front desk gave me patrol phone number to call if it repeated next day and it did and no once answered when I tried calling multiple……

“the Unit is good walking distance from the sports club and the beach/hotel areas. Quit and comfortable. It was nice to have air conditioning. kitchen well supplied, but a good idea to bring spices from home to save on costs.”

“Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Because the unit is on the ground floor, we also weren’t comfortable leaving the windows and doors open overnight. The location is excellent. “The property was easy to find and the entry instructions very clear which was helpful when arriving late at night. The property has everything you need to enjoy time at the beach and is also a great location for relaxing in the evening. There are shops walking distance if desired. I would definitely stay here again. It’s especially nice to have a dedicated parking spot, also the mgmt was very responsive.”
