“Of all the VRBOs I've stayed in, this has been by far my fav! It is adorable, so clean, and you cannot beat the view. Janice was amazing and attentive when needed and the place was stocked with anything we could have needed. And there is a gas station and a Walmart within walking distance. “We came to stay at Babe’s Bungalow the night before a cruise out of the port. It was a perfect location for us as it was a beachfront condo with covered parking and all the amenities we needed. We had 4 adults and slept comfortably on the bed and the pull out sofa. There were also bunk beds we did not use. The kitchen was nicely equipped for our one night stay. “Our family came to Galveston as a Christmas present to the kids instead of doing a bunch of gifts. The Mermaid Lookout more than exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Great view, clean, spacious and a quick walk to the pool, hot tub, and beach. The condo was well stocked and had everything we could need for our stay. We would definitely stay at the Mermaid Lookout again! 10/10 would recommend. ”

“Condo was so cute and cozy. Loved the balcony over looking the lake and lighthouse. Grandbabies loved watching the steamboat leave and dock. The resturant was very convenient. Food was great. Sat outside overlooking lake at sunset. Only issued we had was elevator was out and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs but i needed the exercise. So no worries. Great weekend get a way. Will definitely rent again. Loved it”
