“Great stay at this independent and welcoming hotel. The room we had (No 4) was large and spacious set inside a nice courtyard. We really liked the pool and breakfast. Dinner was available and food was to a high standard (though bit expensive). Lawn and garden was well maintained, but this does mean there a few bugs that try to get into the rooms. “So this hotel had the potential for 5 stars for its range but didn’t make it. First I contacted the hotel repeatedly to ask questions and the Expedia system crashed so I didn’t get any reply. That’s sad - and annoying - but I also emailed them directly. The hotel has a little kitchen with a hob. Very sparsely furnished with cups at and absolutely no cleaning stuff. “The apartment was high quality. Cleanliness was average. Poorly equipped with cutlery, no cups or large drinking glasses. Two of the 3 basin taps were broken and unstable. Room was serviced only once in 2 weeks and only after it was requested.”
